I am the great grandson of Angelo Rossi. He was a great man faced with the social-economic changes of the mid-20th century. He was a great family patriarch. His daughter, Elenor Crabtree, who was my grandmother, was later known as the "Windmill Lady", having raised thousands of dollars for the restoration of the Golden Gate Park windmills. San Francisco has changed so much since Angelo Rossi's administration.
>> Dear Dr. Law, I am Kristin Morris, associate curator of the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society, and member of FoundSF's editorial committee. Regarding your entry above, we would greatly appreciate it if you could move this introduction of yourself to your User page. That page would be found at http://www.foundsf.org/index.php?title=User:Drmorrislaw. It is more appropriate for that page so that community members will know who you are. If you need help moving the text, just let us know and we'll be happy to help. Another descendant of Mayor Rossi, RoseMarie Cleese, is a member of SFMHS - I'm sure she would be happy to help write an entry page about Angelo Rossi and his history. Perhaps the two of you can collaborate. If you don't move the text to your user page by August 21, we'll move it for you. Please don't hesitate to contact us at cc@chriscarlsson.com if you have any questions about FoundSF. Thanks! - Kristin Morris.
