Please note that your article on Gold Rush Era Prostitutes is gravely misprinted with regard to the hanging of Belle Cora. It was her husband who was lynched and hung on May 22, 1856. Belle was not hung for being a prostitute. To Mindy Krazmien you have your Cora's mixed up. Lorraine Deschamps
