In India Basin shipyards and industrial coastline were restored and replaced with a park. Photographs of the basin from 1928 and 1996.

A new park was recently carved out of the industrial shoreline along India Basin, just north of Hunters Point. In these pictures, the shipyard is visible in the distance. (1996 upper right and 1928 below)
